5.Get to know strangers

This is going to be hard especially for first timer. If it’s your first solo trip, you’ll likely be closed and defensive with many of the strangers you meet. But the more you travel, the more you’ll realise that most of them are actually nice people. Best if you are open-minded, you could get the most out of your travel no matter where you go.The word “stranger” has a negative connotation, but I firmly believe strangers are just friends we haven’t met yet.

We are all the same human being. We all have emotions. We all like music. Find common ground in the most basic matters of life and strike up a conversation with someone you’ve just met.Vang Vieng

6.Knowing your limits

When you are all alone, you have to take extra precautions because no one will keep a lookout for you. If you think something is too dangerous for you, don’t do it. Trust your guts. Knowing your limits can be as simple as controlling your drinks.Phuket

7.Develop an interest/hobby

You could develop a new interest while travelling. You could learn a new hobby and simply get hooked by it.By then , travelling would be much meaningful for you trying out your hobby  at different places around the world.Langkawi

It’s always nice to encourage people to travel alone at least once in their life. An adventure with no limitations,It might be the scariest thing you’ve ever done, but if you decide to do it, I can promise you 3 things:

  • It’ll be a trip you’ll never forget.
  • You’ll return home a completely different person than you were before, and people will notice it.
  • You’ll want to do it again.
